Junior School
Early Learning
Early Learning 3 and Early Learning 4 programs offer a lively blend of play based activities for both boys and girls.
These are supported by structured early literacy and numeracy tasks. Specialist subjects such as Music, Physical Education, Library and Art are also integrated into the program.
The Early Learning Centre is an integral part of Ormiston.
Throughout the year, the Early Learning children participate in cross-age literacy activities and projects, attend assemblies and perform in the annual Junior School concert.
Foundation to Year 6
The curriculum challenges children to reach their full potential.
Outstanding educators have a focus on academic excellence and motivate the children to become independent learners, confident problem solvers and enthusiastic participants.
The core learning areas are literacy and numeracy.
These are extended in a stimulating integrated studies program which helps the students to understand the world and their place in it.
Students benefit from specialist teachers in Art, Physical Education, Music, Science, LOTE (Chinese & French) and Information Technology.
We also offer a variety of extension and enrichment activities.
The School’s values and ethos are reinforced through RAVE (Religious and Values Education) and a strong commitment to social service and citizenship.
