Summer Spectacular

Inaugural Summer Spectacular a huge success!

On Saturday 10 February the Senior School was buzzing as current and prospective families joined us for our inaugural Summer Spectacular.

A fiesta of food, rides, amusements, professional market stalls and music there was something for everybody and the day was certainly enjoyed by all in attendance.

A highlight was the student stalls. An entrepreneurial project, students from Years 8 – 12 were set the task of developing their own business for the event. The result was a fabulous range of products and services, all created by our talented Camberwell girls.

From custom pet tags, tie-dyed socks, handcrafted jewellery and face painting to laser-cut garden mobiles, succulent pots, up-cycled stools and virtual reality experiences – over 35 student stalls were scattered throughout the Senior School grounds with many selling out of their products.

Our wonderful parent groups and alumni supported the event by managing the food and drink stalls, as well as volunteering where needed in the lead up to and throughout the day of event.

As a School, we thank everybody who worked to create this event and also those who supported the event by attending on the day. We look forward to reviewing the event and announcing a future date for our second Summer Spectacular.
