Sapphire Circle Lunch

Another very successful Sapphire Circle Lunch was held in Robinson Hall on Saturday 16 October. The Sapphire Circle is dedicated to old grammarians who have graduated 35 years ago or more. This year we saw the tradition of the Sapphire Circle afternoon tea change to a lunch and those in attendance enjoyed a variety of hot and cold food with an array of delicious cakes to finish.

All proceeds from the lunch were directed to the Dorothy Hall Scholarship Fund, named in honour of former Principal, Miss Dorothy Hall. A donation towards this scholarship allows a student who shows general excellence in all areas of academia to receive an education at Camberwell Girls. We would like to thank everyone for their generous contribution and donations to this very worthwhile scholarship. We also thank the Sapphire Circle Committee for their hard work in ensuring that this was once again, a very successful event.

This lunch also saw the unveiling of the new Camberwell Girls Australian Honours Board for those grammarians that have received an Order of Australia Award.
