Consistent Pattern of Excellence
The Class of 2015 from Camberwell Girls Grammar School has continued a long pattern of excellence, receiving outstanding VCE results. ATAR results were published today and this hard-working group of young women, have ensured that the School’s long pattern of consistent academic excellence has remained.
With a 9 year average median ATAR score of 92, a median study score of 36 and 6 perfect study scores in Mathematical Methods, Legal Studies, Biology, Psychology (2) and History Revolutions – it is obvious that Camberwell girls develop a strong love for learning.
The 2015 results for Camberwell Girls Grammar School are:
9% of ATARs >99 (top 1%)
32% of ATARs >95 (top 5%)
58% of ATARs >90 (top 10%)
Dux of the School is Madeleine Tse who received an ATAR of 99.75. Dux Secondus is Daisy Yang. The RM Westcott Award for 3rd Highest was awarded to Anne-Marie Goh. The Otto Yuncken Award for 4th Highest was awarded to June Xian and Linda Zhuang.
School Principal Debbie Dunwoody says she is extremely proud of the Class of 2015 and would like to congratulate the students as well as the team of dedicated and hardworking staff.
“This dedicated group of girls have worked extremely hard all year and are most deserving of these results. Our team of educators must also be acknowledged. They understand how girls learn best, set high expectations, engage their students in learning, inspire them to embrace challenges and truly prepare them for their futures. The results truly speak for themselves,” says Debbie.
