PFA Junior School Disco

The vibrant energy of the disco party for Junior School students was nothing short of exciting.  The event’s centrepiece was the glitter neon face painting, which added an extra layer of glow to their already colourful outfits. The space was surrounded by artwork on the walls painted by the students in years 4, 5 and 6 in neon glow paint. The UV lighting really made the room look amazing. The dance floor was the pinnacle of the night with the DJ’s energy keeping the students interest the whole time with their structured song list with dance moves to accompany. The students thoroughly enjoyed their school disco! Thank you to all our parent volunteers who assisted on the night, we couldn’t do it without you.

PFA Winter Concert Pre-show refreshments

The introduction of pre-show refreshments for parents and families who attended the Winter Concert on Friday 18 August has been met with great success. By offering refreshments and light snacks, parents relaxed and mingled with fellow parents prior to the show, creating a sense of community and shared enthusiasm.

OGA Public Speaking Competition

Tuesday 15th August at a special assembly, the OGA Public Speaking Competition semi-finals were held. This year there were four finalists from years 7, 8, 10 and 12.

The topic “The age of innocent faith in science and technology may be over” was given to the students on the previous Friday at 3.30, leaving them just a few days to prepare. They spoke for 4 minutes on the topic and Emily Lin, Class of 2022 and 2022 School Debating Captain was the adjudicator.

The winner was Aashi Year 10 and runner up was Natasha Year 8.

Congratulations to all participants on truly excellent speeches.
